What a typical washout the British summer has been. There was barely dry spell for more than two days and now as the nights draw in earlier and the chill factor steps up a gear, more and more of us will be reaching for our winter jumpers, cosy pyjamas and wooly knitted bed socks.

 

We will all mourn the summer in our own way, like wearing gladiators throughout September and dismissing oversized cardigans for silk cami tops and slowly shivering our way down the high street begging the sun to show its face. It won't take long however, for the seasonal transition to come naturally and in no time we'll be living in ribbed leggings giving our feet a treat with sheepskin boots and toasty toes. Another bonus of the colder months is the comforting moment when you slip out of your loungewear and into your pyjamas. Getting into bed and snuggling down in silk pyjamas is one of the most luxurious feelings and who minds an early night when you're that cosy!

 

A hang up many people have about nightwear is the material. Some like cotton pyjamas some like silk pyjamas. Then there is style, whether to go for pyjamas, cotton nightshirts or a nightie. If you're looking for a fool proof winner of a present for your partner or in fact any female who has a birthday coming up or maybe you need to buy Christmas presents, then silk pyjamas or silk nighties are classic special gifts that women will adore. A secret favourite of mine has to be my knitted bed socks. My boyfriend possibly doesn't feel the same but when you're all wrapped up with your pyjamas on and a good book, knitted bed socks will give you that 100% comfort and they ooze indulgence.

 

Pass me a tub or chocolate ice-cream and pop on a chic flick and my knitted bed socks and I are not far from heaven. Another classic indulgement has to be kicking back and relaxing in an oversized pyjama shirt with an eye mask and some chilled out tunes. Women's clothing is an area which for some people can bring so much joy and to others rather a lot of boring Saturday afternoons. The people that generally fall into these two options are firstly women who get the joy and secondly men who are dragged around the shops wishing they were watching the footie with their mates.

 

Thankfully there is another way for women to satisfy their women's clothing needs and this is by shopping online. You can find all kinds of women's clothes online, from pyjamas to loungewear to nighties.
